Sun Fishing is a growing fishing company located in Berbera, with an additional branch in Hargeisa. The company owns another plot of land in Berbera for future expansion and plans to further expand into a border city of Ethiopia. Past support for the company includes Shuraako-sponsored grant

To support its expansion, Sun Fishing applied and was approved for a loan from the Nordic Horn of Africa Opportunities Fund. The funding will be used to purchase additional boats, fishing supplies, and cold storage. Sun Fishing also plans to use the investment to hire more staff and contribute to the continuing job growth in the region.
