Daniel Mwatha

Daniel Mwatha is a finance and accounting professional with over 14 years of experience spanning audit, financial management, donor-funded programs, operations, and strategic financial decision making.

Before joining Shuraako Capital as Controller, he served as Finance and Operations Manager at Porticus Africa Ltd and Senior Finance Officer, Program at the Africa Enterprise Challenge Fund. He began his career with Deloitte, where he gained experience in audit, financial reporting, internal controls, and risk management.

Daniel holds an MBA in Global Social Sustainable Entrepreneurship from USIU-Africa, a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting from the University of Nairobi, and is a Certified Public Accountant of Kenya (CPA-K). At Shuraako Capital, he provides financial leadership across accounting, reporting, treasury, risk management, and financial decision support.
