Kaah Electrical General Trading (“Kaah”) is a renewable energy company established in 2003. The company sells solar panels, inverters, solar water pumping systems, off-grid solar systems, solar streetlight systems, and accessories. Beyond the sale of these products, Kaah offers installation, testing, design, and post-sale support. The company’s operations extend through Bosaso, Garowe, Galkayco, and Qardho.

As the company pursues its goal of becoming a one-stop shop for renewable energy products and services in Somalia, Kaah is being assisted by an investment from the Nordic Horn of Africa Opportunities Fund to purchase additional solar panels and dry batteries, to offer smaller cities in Puntland.
