The Somali diaspora represents a large pool of potential investors that can be leveraged for longterm and scaled development in Somaliland. The recently released Somali Diaspora Investment Survey Report assesses the preferences and behaviors of Somali diaspora toward existing channels and opportunities for Somali-based investments and provides policy recommendations for better facilitating this crucial investment. Key findings and recommendations from the report will be presented.
